OUR HISTORY


It was during a humanitarian action carried out in the region of Kasserine that Olfa, co-founder of Biothelya, discovered the exceptional potential of a generous and loving land, ZELFENE and THALA: capitals of prickly pear cultivation.

There began the idea of a project to promote this fruit, described by the women of the region as the "king of fruits" with exceptional properties.
And which, through its ecological benefits (no need for water, fights the advancement of the desert, zero waste), its economic action in isolated regions, and the job creation it can offer, would ensure a positive impact on the local population.

Finally, it is through the meeting of 2 women: Olfa and Nada, passionate about the cosmetics industry, and driven by the desire to innovate and and undertake meaningful projects that the Biothelya brand was born in 2024.

CERTIFICATION

BIOTHELYA collaborates with a wide range of farmers to ensure its supply of prickly pear fruits and rackets.
Crops are grown on more than 170 hectares, with perfectly mastered practices, without pesticides or any chemical product.
Certificates are established by the specialized bodies, guaranteeing the entirely organic chain of the raw material, as well as the transformation procedures within the factory, ensuring the absence of any non-biological agent from the articles produced.
